Gucci presents a short film by Oscar winner Spike Jonze and Halina Reijn, featuring looks
from the Gucci: La Famiglia collection by Artistic Director Demna.
Premiering in Milan on September 23, 2025.
SYNOPSIS
The story of The Tiger follows Barbara Gucci, Head of Gucci International and Chairman of
California, as she gathers her children and a special guest at the family home to celebrate
her birthday.
Beneath the polished surface, Barbara struggles to balance everything:
upholding the company’s reputation, impressing a guest of honour, being a mother, and her
desperate attempt to control it all.
When the night takes an unexpected turn, her carefully
crafted façade cracks and teeters on collapse as the family attempts to find a new way.

*Palazzo Mezzanotte is the headquarter of the Italian Stock Exchange.
The ground floor has been reorganized into a procession leading to a purpose-built cinema. Entry was announced by a brass logo on travertine hoarding, followed by a narrow corridor into a foyer of palisander wood, amber carpet, and velvet curtains.
Guests walked through the screen into the theatre, where brown velvet seating on espresso carpet was enclosed by matching walls and curtains. Three chandeliers, composed of frosted-glass toral fixtures etched with floral motifs, structured the room and surround sound immersed the audience.

- ‘The Tiger’ was inspired by the SS26 collection and the characters that Demna created for La Famiglia collection, unveiled on the 22nd September.
- La Famiglia collection by Demna unveiled yesterday defines the aesthetic based upon which Demna’s Gucci vision will be built leading up to his first show in February.
- The SS26 collection will be available exclusively in ten Gucci stores (New Bond Street store in London included) from September 25th to October 12th 2025 _ to then globally drop in all stores in February 2026.
